Law of attraction has been practised for many many years…but it
has only surfaced the knowledge of most people because of “The Secret”.
Some
people believe in it and some don’t. Think about it, you are a person
who loves cars and your dream car is, say, a red Ferrari. You are
extremely ambitious and determined to own one. Now what do you spot on
the street? Ferrari here and a Ferrari there. It’s going to be like the
nursery rhyme, Old McDonald. Except this time he’s going to have a farm
full of Ferraris.
Why most people who struggle in business don’t see the positive
effect of law attraction is because their focus is totally wrong. “Why
am I still struggling?” “Why am I not making any money?” “Why am I not
getting any leads?”
Notice the negativity in these questions? You focus on negative,
you’ll attract negative. If you focus on positive, you’ll attract
positive. Incantations, commands and affirmations are ways of setting
your focus positively. Reading stories of successful people who have
achieved something in life, you defiantly noticed that they seems to be
having and sharing their ability to influence their subconscious mind.
Law Of Attraction – How to attract the right people into your business
Do you know who your best buyer or the best person you want to have
and work with in your business? Are you able to answer this question?
Do you know where you can find your best buyer? Age? Preferences? Psychology of buying etc?
I know mine. I am looking for professional people, who are strongly
entrepreneurial, self-motivated, ideally with a background of sales or
marketing and are hungry and driven to make a change. People who will
take action to achieve their dreams.
Here are some “law of attraction” points that I would like to share with you:
Believe in yourself. This is number one. No matter
what amazing company you are with, if you don’t believe in yourself, you
will not succeed. Period. If you go for a meeting feeling unsure
whether you can present in the utmost way, your prospect will definitely
see it and they will move away to your competitor.
Be crystal clear in your mind of who you are looking for.
Who is your “best buyer”? Define your best and ideal person, as a
major part of your success revolves around who you attract. It is not
about recruiting everybody!!
Learn to let go. You will definitely meet time
wasters, let go of these people as they will not only waste your time,
they will also take away your positive energy and make you a crummy
person. What I am trying to say is, stop hoping, wishing and begging.
These are a no, no.
Maintain yourself.Following the above point, when
someone says “no” to you, what do you do? Do you try to show them more
proof? Try to explain yourself more? Did it help you at all? This
clearly shows weakness, that you are not a leader. And remember, word
does go around.
When I come across a similar situation, I just say thank you, great meeting you. And if you know anyone who is looking for an opportunity as such, I would be grateful for any referral. That’s it.
Practicing being the type of person you want to attract helps.
Because you attract who you are, not who you are looking for. Find out
where they hang out, what books they read and start practicing.
Learn to enjoy the journey. Don’t be addicted to the outcome.
Attitude of gratitude. Be grateful for all the
things that have happened in your life. Your past experience, the rights
and the wrongs, are the things that shape you to be who you are today.
Be in this state and you will notice your life changing and operating at
a higher level.

This post is written with the assumption that you are already an
entrepreneur, already have a business plan, financing, etc. If not, make
that happen!
Be willing to tell someone about what you’re doing
Yes,
shy people can be entrepreneurs, but if you struggle to ask someone to
help spread the word or have difficulty sharing information about your
business then how will people know you’ve got a new business in the
first place?
Never let your youth hold you back from telling
people about your company when appropriate. Remember that your age is
both an asset and (can be) a hindrance so if you screw up at first just
learn from your mistakes. We all gotta start somewhere!
Listen to what people say
Ask
potential clients/customers questions about themselves and be sincere.
The key to any industry is about relationships with your end consumer.
People need to know that you care and they’ll remember you and your
business. I am not in a traditional sales business but one of my
favorite books is Jeffery Gitomer’s Little Red Book of Selling because
it teaches you how to do just that- listen and build relationships.
Never bombard people with your business
This
can be extremely difficult if you’re really excited about what you do,
but see #2 above. You will learn so much more about your target market
if you let them open up to you and then address their needs with your
product or service. As guru Jeffrey Gitomer says, “People hate to be
sold but they love to buy.” (especially if they like you!) Again- pick
up any of Jeffrey Gitomer’s “Little book of” books. These are all
extremely helpful and he actually answers his personal email! (but save
yourself some cash and get them at Amazon or Half.com of course!)
Get used to hearing “no thanks” and “not interested”
No
matter how perfect your service or product is there are really some
people out there who have no interest in your company or what you offer
and that’s okay-no amount of salesmanship will change their mind. You
will hear no more than once. Thank them and move on because if you offer
something amazing there will be other people who realize it and they
will want to buy from you.
Dress professionally when on the job or looking for new business
This
may seem like a no-brainer but trust me, last week I saw young women
being interviewed to get into pharmacy school who were wearing leggings
and men who were sporting that popular half-shaven look. First
impression is huge for young entrepreneurs like you and me because we
want to be taken seriously… So don’t give anyone any reason discredit
you because of your outfit. TomJames.com has very tasteful collections
that will give you a guideline of what looks professional, regardless of
your age.
Learn how to speak more effectively without the “ums and uhs”
Talk
to your cat. Give a pretend presentation to the mirror. Whatever it
takes to get comfortable with your business, do it. Toastmasters is an
excellent cost effective organization that will help you stop speaking
ineffectively. They welcome younger guests, too- locate your nearest
chapter and ask if you can sit in on a meeting. They last about an hour
and will give you a great idea of how to speak effectively and maturely.
For
those of you in high school consider joining a business related service
group. Ask your counselor or teachers for more details.
Realize success will not happen overnight
It
probably will not happen for the first 4-5 months. But stick with it –
if you quit then it will never happen for you. Famous Failures-all of
these people ended up making lasting impressions on their field and our
world- did you know they are famous “failures”? They all failed
miserably and some were even told they’d never make it- yet they did and
we know recognize each of their names. If you’re on to something never
ever quit.
Be creative to get your name and company out there
Start
a blog. Do some posts about your business. Join a local community
service group. Volunteer under your company’s name, etc. The Social Tee
offers custom social media shirts (like follow me on twitter, etc) I
haven’t gotten a price quote yet but I’ve heard they offer competitive
pricing.Read anything you can get your hands along the lines of
marketing, success strategies, and how to effectively use social media.
Again, some of my favorites are anything by Jeffrey Gitomer and
Mashable’s small business section.
Ask for their business
This
can be difficult for even the most outgoing people to do, but an
effective salesperson will ask for the customer’s business (Did you
realize you are salesperson since you’re promoting your company?). I
still find it difficult to remember to ask for business-especially if
the chemistry is great between someone I’m talking to. Just because you
click with them doesn’t mean they’ll be your customer. Here’s a great
article on Microsoft’s forums about how to ask for a customer’s
business, for referrals, and for return business.
It is all about networking
Everyone
knows someone who knows someone who can use your services-just ask Feel
like you’re too young to talk to adult professionals? Ask your parents
or your friend’s parents if they know anyone who is looking for your
services. It is about who you know, and who they know. So get out there
and shake some hands and talk to the right people-(the ones who can be
future clients or can refer future clients).
If you have a game
plan and can effectively express yourself and what your company does
adult professionals will stop seeing your young age and start treating
you as a peer because you will have demonstrated that you are on the
same level with them.
2 lessons learnt from going for dinner to a Chinese food court with my wife..
I took her for dinner to a new place
recommended by my Chinese friend from Kuala Lumpur. He is a master guide
of best food places in KL.
Lesson 1: Create synergy of unique value
The
owner of the food square is a very demanding man. Instead of renting
the place as fast as possible just to get his rent, he decided to set a
higher standard and he allowed only stall owners who produce famous and
finger licking food. This way he created a very special place that is
frequently visited by many people. I have been there twice and I know I
will visit it many times again (still around 40 stalls left to try).
Also I am adding this place to must visit food places list for my
friends visiting Kuala Lumpur. From what I am aware there is only 1
place like that in the whole KL.
Lesson 1: set higher standard, surround yourself with quality producing people to create something exceptional and memorable.
Lesson 2: One wheel and four hamsters
After
eating Taiwanese sausages, satays, kuey teow, black eggs with ginger we
did not feel like going home straight away, so we went to a
neighbouring shop selling pets. We went to see fish tanks, rabbits,
dogs, guinea pigs and hamsters.
When we saw hamsters, I just could not resist from recording them,
they were hilarious. See for yourself what actually happens when you
have one wheel and 4 hamsters trying to reach the career ladder. What an
amazing life metaphor of a rat (hamster) race. Do they go faster? Do
they help each other? Actually it was real fun to watch it.
A
standard question that entrepreneurs are asked is, when did they start
becoming an entrepreneur? There will be some who will reply that they
used to experiment when they were at an early age, some who took
entrepreneurial steps when they were working and some who started only
after retirement. These answers show that such a mindset can be changed
and developed at any stage and that people are not born with such
talent, but it is nurtured and discovered depending on the environment
around.
Unless
there is a belief that entrepreneurship can be developed and nurtured,
there is no possibility of any country or society succeeding in creating
an entrepreneurial economy, particularly for societies that have been
used to the scholar system or to a system that was driven primarily by a
corporate-based economy consisting of large multinationals corporations
or large government-linked companies.
This
has been proven after the dot com era and it has developed now in the
second wave, where many incubators and accelerators have popped up in
the market. Entrepreneurship education has also popped up in schools,
where kids are being encouraged to think more creatively and
entrepreneurially. The funny thing is that this change came from the
people and not from governments or bureaucratic bodies. The communities
started from people getting together and helping each other out. They
realized that entrepreneurship could be nurtured in others and that with
more people thinking entrepreneurially or differently, that they could
bring about many great changes to the world.
It
was after the movement gained traction that governments started to take
notice and they started giving their support to such thinking. They
understood the impact that entrepreneurial learning brought to society
and they also have contributed to this movement.
In
countries like Singapore, the government has put in a lot of support
through various agencies to encourage entrepreneurial thinking and
growth. They understand that innovation and such drive will help keep
the company in line with the current times and will help take the
economy to the next level.
Entrepreneurial
thinking can bring about a lot of change in the world, there have been
many innovations that have made improvements in many lives and have
given many people freedom. This shows that all you require is a change
in mindset. A change in mindset, which is needed at the government level
as well as at the societal level, is the conviction that
entrepreneurship can be nurtured and developed, and that the government
and society can at least play a part in aiding the process.
Whether you have a shop or online store, attracting customers to
visit your store is your top priority. The more visitors to you shop,
the higher the probability of sale to be made. So what is the secret
behind how to generate free traffic to your website? How can you attract a lot of potential customers to visit your site?
Be warned, however, that this article talks about the different
strategies on how to generate traffic to your website. But how to
monetize the generated traffic is all together different matter.
5 basic strategies to get free traffic to a website
Tip 1 To Get Free Traffic to a Website – Article Writing – Article writing
is an effective traffic generation strategies whereby you think of a
topic related to your line of business and write articles about it. And
in order to maximize the effectiveness of this strategy, you need to
incorporate keywords in the article that are relevant to your line of
business. After writing the article, you then have to publish it in
numerous sites and promote it. There are article submission sites that
allow the authors of articles to modify their profile information to
include their website address and allow linkage of their profile name to
their respective websites.
– A great and free tools for finding profitable keywords is the Google Keyword Tool.
Tip 2 To Get Quality Free Traffic to a Website – Blogging – This strategy is by far the most simple yet very effective method of generating free traffic
to your website. It is simple, but you must have great content or a
subject matter, optimized on-page, social SEO and lots of backlinks to
your website.
Tip 3 To Get Additional Free Traffic to a Website – Blog commenting
is very easy and fun to do. Almost all blogs on the internet nowadays
have comment section just below the blog or article. All you have
to do is make a comment about the article and put your website address
or link on your comment. You must put genuine effort. Your goal is to
make a meaningful or interesting comment that would make the readers to
click on your website link or to go to your website. The efficacy of
this strategy is dependent on the quality of your comment.
Tip 4 To Receive Free Flow of Visitors to a Blog – Forum Marketing
– Forums of every niche and category you can think about are abound in
the internet. They are easy to search and, most of the time, you can
join for free. As with forum and blog commenting, the success of this
strategy in driving free traffic to your website depends on the
quality of your comments and response to the query or questions of the
members of the forum. You would like to make an impression through your
answers that you are a master of the topic you are commenting on and
that the readers want to know more of your ideas.
Tip 5 To Generate Quality Free Traffic to a Website – Content Marketing
– Content marketing strategy is amalgamation of different strategies
that focus mainly on the content for the purpose of marketing product or
services. But content marketing strategy has evolved through the years.
It used to be that writing a bunch of simple articles and publishing
them on several websites can do the trick, today’s strategy includes
videos and other media formats in promoting content marketing strategy.
The popularity of social sites cannot be ignored such that it became
mandatory to make your content social that includes share or like
buttons that let the readers or users syndicate them with the likes of
Facebook, Twitter and other social networking sites.
As I mentioned earlier, the purpose of these strategies is to drive
people to visit your website. At the beginning it might be overwhelming
and you might not feel sure how to get started. As with everything,
select one strategy, master it and only then move to another one. So
today take the first step and have fun with it.
Regardless who you are currently leading or want to lead, if it is a
big business, a political organisation, a sports club, a church or a
network marketing organisation, the simple 7 leadership principles will make a difference.
7 Secrets I Learnt From The Leadership Pill by Ken Blanchard
Leadership is not just what happens when you are there. It’s what happens when you are not there.
This is a very useful distinction and should become an outcome for
anyone who wants to lead. Team that functions even if the leader is not
around is something unique and requires a different level of skills. The
next points will give couple of ideas how to get there. A great leader
builds their people. The better your people, the more free time you
have.
Profit is the applause you get for taking care of your customers and creating a motivating environment for people.
Isn’t it an interesting twist in perception and sequence? There are
so many organisations that do exactly opposite. This model helps to
remove from constantly focusing on just getting a quick financial gain
that looks good in a short term, but on the other hand it can strongly
damage the two most important parts of your organisations: your
customers and your team.
Leadership is not something you do to people, it is something you do with them.
Simple but powerful truth. If you are setting off for a team leading
journey, remember to take your team with you. Communicate and involve.
Simple but also so often forgotten.
The key to effective leadership is the relationship you build with your team.
An extension from the previous points. The relationship you build
with your team should be the way how you judge your success as a leader.
Sharing the big picture puts everyone on the same page.
Effective communication will always be the key leadership
skill while building a team. A clear vision gives the strong sense of
direction, or even a sense of excitement and a powerful drive, if
properly communicated.
You will go a lot further if you stop to refuel.
That is something I must admit I have been guilty of. It is so
crucially important to pause, relax and change your perception with
different activities, different people. So take time for sport, short
trips, dancing, reading watching movies, hiking etc. If you are scoring
and winning take time to celebrate, if you are missing your target and
not really getting what you want, find time to reflect and get some
distance to gain new perspective. Albert Einstein put it nicely: “We
cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created
them”
The highest achievement of a leader is winning respect and trust of your team.
Again, I love what Ken Blanchard is doing here. Measure your success
of leadership not by financial numbers but trust and respect. These two
ingredients will lay a solid foundation that will be a springboard for
long lasting financial results.
Hope these 7 nuggets from Ken Blanchard take your leadership skills to the max!
dimanipulasi menjadi suatu bentuk "money game", biasanya dikenali
Malaysia, Skim Pak Man Telo adalah salah satu contoh "naked money game"
pelaburan forex, pelaburan emas, ternakan lembu, kambing, ikan keli,
skim menderma, skim tolong menolong, wang pos, oil and gas, high yield
investment dan lain-lain).
Kenapa label MLM popular digunakan untuk
menjalankan money game?
keuntungan, belum lagi keuntungan sebenar. "Recruitting" di dalam MLM
boleh dianggap membawa keuntungan sebenar apabila ia mewakili aktiviti
menggerakkan produk kepada pengguna-pengguna baru atau mewakili aktiviti
mendapatkan pengedar-pengedar baru bagi menggerakkan produk kepada
pengguna-pengguna akhir melalui aktiviti-aktiviti perniagaan.
komisen untuk "signing up" ahli baru. Komisen cuma mula dibayar apabila
loading" bakal merubah sesuatu perniagaan MLM menjadi "money game".
perniagaan MLM disalahguna menjadi "pyramidal money game".
mempromosikan perniagaan. Sekiranya para pengedar, terutamanya "leaders"
mampu menseimbangkan antara aktiviti "recruitting" dan pergerakan
produk kepada pengguna akhir sebenar (genuine endusers), perniagaan MLM
mampu kekal sebagai 'a viable and legitimate business practice'.
Sekiranya
aktiviti "recruitting" is "over promoted" sampai menganak tirikan
"excitement" tentang keistimewaan dan kegunaan produk serta meminggirkan
pergerakan produk kepada pengguna akhir sebenar, maka aktiviti
"recrutting" yang berlaku sebenarnya adalah "head-hunting" di dalam
sebuah permainan wang yang mengelirukan peserta dengan bertopengkan
penjualan pakej produk permulaan (entry product package).
Kenapa
menjadi kaya raya melalui aktiviti menrekrut peserta baru, bukan melalui
Cukuplah kalau kita
ambil perkembangan 4 x 4, iaitu setiap peserta cuma perlu mencari empat
Mungkin
angka-angka ini agak kurang jelas, biar kita spell out the numbers:
apabila duplikasi seorang peserta berlaku secara perfect sebanyak
duabelas kali duplikasi menurut strategi seorang peserta cari empat
peserta, maka peserta tersebut memerlukan ENAM PULOH TUJUH JUTA, SERATUS
LAPAN RIBU DAN LAPAN RATUS ENAM PULOH EMPATorang peserta di dalam
rangkaiannya.
kali ganda jumlah KESELURUHAN penduduk Malaysia!
begitu ramai, impossibly too many.
Namun hakikatnya kekal bahawa skim
It is a clearly flawed concept
Life as an entrepreneur can at times be very stressful and frustrating.
There are many times you feel like giving up and just throwing in the
towel, because of a problem you cannot solve. This gets worse when you
are alone. The wrong thoughts come into your mind, swaying you to give
up on all your work and to take the easy route out. This is when you
need friends and the right community that will share and keep you on the
right path.
You need people with the same motives and aspirations, who have faced
similar problems, around you. To guide you and to be there for you.
This is why many companies have been started just to cater to
entrepreneurs. Incubators, workspaces, clubs have all begun to get the
community together, working around each other to provide the support for
others, that would help entrepreneurs to move on.
It’s at many of these events that entrepreneurs mingle and discuss
the issues they face. Many people get the help and guidance they need,
many people find new partnerships and business opportunities that turn
out to be the next big thing.
As an entrepreneur, especially a new one, it is important not to shut
yourself out, instead it is important to surround yourself with the
right people, who will guide you right and will be your support to nudge
you on, to achieve your goals.
Many workspaces organize events and networking sessions to bring
entrepreneurs together. Take the time to attend these events and to meet
others. Make friends with people from the community, learn from what
they have to say and share the knowledge you have. Sometimes by helping
others, you could open doors that would help you further in the future.
Remember, helping each other does not need to be a zero sum game – everyone can benefit.
1. Use e-mail marketing correctly – Email marketing is a
very powerful tool to drive traffic to your blog when used correctly.
DO NOT SPAM. Spamming just doesn’t work. On the contrary, it will drive
off potential customers. Market your blog as newsletters and get your
visitors to subscribe to your blog newsletter instead. We are using an
email marketing tool called AWeber and it has the feature of connecting
our blog to our database and send out regular updates! How cool is that.
2. Use the Social Media – Take advantage of the
popularity of social media in promoting your blogs. Hundreds of millions
of users are using social media sites every single day. You can gain
followers by reaching out to them on a personal level. This method,
however, requires time and patience to build network of friends and
followers by knowing their interest.
3. Promote your blog – there are many ways you can
apply in promoting your blog and getting a good amount of traffic. The
following are well known and proven methods for generating traffic to your blog and eventually convert them as leads.
Article Marketing – Submitting your blog posts to many article directories for backlinking. There are tools like Article Marketing Robot that can help you to spin the article, submit to thousands and thousands of directories with just a few clicks.
Social Bookmarking – If you scroll all the way down, you’ll
find a row of various social networks where you can bookmark the
blogpost. Some of the most popular ones are Delicious, StumbleUpon,
Reddit, Twitter.
Traffic Syndication – This is a very very cool method for increasing your blog traffic. One of the top tool for traffic syndication is Ping.fm. Rather than going into a long explanation here’s step-by-step guide on what the tool does:
1. Set up a Ping.fm account
2. Sign up for all or most of the social network accounts available for
syndication. These networks are of high authority and getting a
backlink to your blog, weighs alot!
3. Connect your RSS feed link to Ping.fm
4. Keep blogging daily and the tool will keep automatically updating all these networks! Simple?
4. Post regularly – If you are a newbie and posting
articles or blogs at random interval, will give an impression to your
followers that the site is abandoned with no new posts published for a
while. Make a schedule of writing and publishing blogposts and stick to
it. Posting daily is advisable, but if your readers got used to
receiving newsletter from you on weekly basis, then stick to it. This
actually gives you much time to think of interesting topics and builds
the feeling of anticipation on the part of your readers or subscribers.
5. Don’t forget the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) –
Make the content of your blog SEO friendly. This will greatly help in
keeping your site within the radar of the search engines. There are
various ways of making your contents SEO friendly. This includes but not
limited to using meta keywords, descriptions and tags; utilizing
keywords in the title tag and body text of the blog; Image alt tags and
outbound links in the blog.
Create hot, interesting and exciting blog posts
The success of blogging depends not only on drawing visitors to your
site but how to convert them into returning visitors and eventually your
followers. Once you master the techniques of drawing visitors to your
site, then you must also learn how to make them stick around and become
your followers. If you become a master of the two techniques, then you
can congratulate yourself as a successful internet marketer by using the
above simple tips for increasing your blog traffic.
You
cannot be half-hearted about your involvement, you have to face the
slaughterhouse and give yourself to the cause you are after.
Passion!
The
best thing to do is to get this clear from the start; if you are
intending to become an entrepreneur and to work on your ideas with so
much passion, then you have to know that there will be a tremendous
amount of work coming your way. There will be sleepless nights and
frustrating times. It is best to your ‘mind set’ now itself before we go
any deeper. The amount of commitment required of you especially in the
initial stages of execution may take you away from your friends, family
and some of the pleasurable activities you enjoy.
If
you want to build something great, commitment and focus is required.
You need to sacrifice the time and energy from other activities and
focus it on your startup. Compared to the Dot Com era, we have a lot
more entrepreneurs giving up their day jobs to focus on their
businesses. They understand that this is a full time career and that
they need to be there to build it up; to do the hard work before they
can reap the benefits.
There
are many who still continue to keep their day jobs as well. You may
need to feed your family or have some stability while getting things
going. This is fair enough, but sacrifices will have to be made on other
fronts. Do understand that if you intend to go on an entrepreneurial
journey, you will have to forgo or put aside your other career
ambitions. It will not be easy to work on two massive paths at the same
time. They are bound to clash and you will be really exhausted to focus
your energy completely on making either succeed.
If
you intend to run a small cupcake business from your home to make some
extra cash on the side, then you could manage to do it while holding
your day job. But if you intend to make a bakery franchise, or a company
that has a reach of millions, then when the time comes, you will have
to make that jump.
One
advice we would give is to begin your planning and research whilst you
are working. See if the project is feasible and would it be sustainable.
You could even start experimenting and selling on a small scale. But
once you are ready to start, then it would be best to go in full time.
Be at the helm of the ship so that you(the captain) can steer it through
the stormy waters, to its final destination.
Unless
you have the passion, and unless you spend all your time on your
start-up, there will be little chance of success. Having one foot in and
the other foot out the door and doing a part-time job as an
entrepreneur rarely works in the real world; you have to get both feet
in the door. I am not saying it is impossible, but it is rare that such
an approach will yield good results. Perhaps one can do this at the very
early stages of planning a start-up company, but when it comes to
executing and starting the company, there is no other way but to be
fully immersed into it and to become the ENTREPRENEUR that is fully
committed to the final outcome.
Well
all of us have some fear of failing, but how much fear and whether the
fear is enough to stop me in my tracks is what makes the difference. For
me failure is not the end of the road; it’s just signal that I have to
take a detour along the way. An entrepreneur’s career is very different
from most peoples' careers. There is no ladder to climb. Instead you
start off on the first day at the top. When you register a company you
become its director immediately. Compared to your peers who choose to
work for a company, they have to go through the ranks and rise up in the
company and perhaps become directors one day. You start off at that
point from day one.
This
is where you need to be careful. Some people take those titles too
egoistically and they assume that they are on top of the world from day
one. But true entrepreneurs know that they may have the title, but they
need to earn its value.
The
thing is to truly earn that title, you really have to put in those
hours and do things others may not even think of doing. You have to work
on the ground, sweep the floor, make sure every thing is packed right,
every detail is right, and then stay up late at night, working on
strategies to take over the world. The CEO of a startup plays both the
factory worker role and the role of the boss.
Now
what has that got to do with failure? Remember, everything you do,
every step you take, and every single person you meet is a learning
event. This journey is all about learning and applying. Learn that
lesson today and remember it well. Your journey does not end when the
company is closed down, it does not end if you lose all your money - it
only ends if you decide it ends.
It
would seem very weird, but if you look at Silicon Valley, you will see
that other startups and corporations are hiring many failed
entrepreneurs. In the Valley, failing is an important qualification to
be funded by VCs. Many of these entrepreneurs would have shown that even
though they failed, they have gotten up again and picked up from where
they left off. They have come up more mature and educated from their
past experiences, ready to take on the next challenge ahead.
Unlike
a corporate ladder, an entrepreneurial career has many different ups
and downs. It is the entrepreneur who has to learn to face the
challenges and come out a more mature person at the end of it. An
entrepreneur’s education is in journey taken and the failures they
overcame.
Strive
to be a more capable person, do not be afraid of failing the small
tests along the way, instead look at the bigger picture and strive to
achieve your dreams.

In home based business industry there is this fantasy pitched and sold
too often: “join my system or my team and you will start making money
instantly…” – as if you were about to buy instant noodles…
I’m afraid it does not work like that. I personally prefer to be
pitched in a different way: “Come and join our 90 day program and we
will help you grow necessary skills to drive traffic, generate leads and
that will help you make money”.
I have bad news…. are you ready? It will be more like going to the gym then going to cinema… as most people would love it to be.
Champions Cross Out or Pass Out
I have met and interviewed many high performers and top producers.
There is one phrase that describes their work ethic – “cross out or pass
out”. It is all about taking massive insane action.
Obviously before you start moving, it is good to know why you move,
which direction to move and what are the best moves that most successful
people do to get them there the fastest.
So, you need education. Yes, you need to grow, you need to expand
your consciousness first. You need to study and model what other
successful people have done, because you do not know what you do not
know.
Learning might be cool, it will be absorbing, can be exciting but you have to take action.
Admit This – Knowledge Is not Power
If you really think that knowledge is power, why aren’t the richest
and most powerful people, those who have PHDs, read loads of books and
go to all possible seminars? We all know people who know a lot and do
nothing about it.
Knowledge is only potential power, when you combine it with action.
Most people know that, but they don’t really get the meaning of it.
Bad news is: Your life will stay the same if the only thing you do is
you are only reading more. You will be an interesting person to converse
with, but that does not bring results.
If you take massive action you will actually learn faster
People often ask: what is your secret? What tool do you use? A good answer most of the time is: “Just get off your butt and take massive but massive action!” Do not worry about making mistakes, about grammar and punctuation, just get it out there and learn from it.
The formula is:
“learn it, implement it, see what works, review it and do it better”
Kick ass break glass, take massive action.
When you take little or no action, you will receive mediocre results.
This is the law of the universe, and there isn’t anything that you can
do to change it
6 Tips how to take Massive Action
Admit that Knowledge Is not Power
Know your outcome – start with the end in mind
Start Moving – Pray and Walk
Set sub-goals and time limits.
Eliminate and outsource.
Block some time, get rid of distractions
Bonus Tip: The Secret Weapon
If you are still reluctant to take action: you need to know this
secret and powerful concept: “5 Minutes Room Rescue” by the FlyLady. Go
to your kitchen and set set your kitchen timer for 5 minutes. Then, rush
to your most dirty room and clean it up. When the timer buzzes, stop
and you can start working on what is important with a very clear
conscience.
Whenever I do a repetitive task, or “NET activity” (no extra time) I
always play an audio in the background to expose myself to new ideas.
But, some people speak slowly so to make the process faster I double the
speed on the player (you can do it with most of the players). So you
can listen to 1 hour of content in 30 or even 20 min. It’s actually an
idea borrowed from my 13 years old brother who shortens his time to read
school books, actually listen to books. The young generation seems to
have the right ideas.
As with many of these things, you must have heard most of them at
some point of time but it is always good to hear them again, especially
from a new person in a slightly different way. Hopefully something will
unlock for you and help you create new distinctions or brand new
associations.
Money is not important:
I love this one. Heard it so many times. “Money is not important”. If
you hear it from someone, follow up this statement with this simple
question: “You are broke, right?” That’s sounds a bit rude but for some
reason it is extremely accurate.
Think about it, if you told the same things to your friend, “you are
not important” Do you think he would stick around for long?… So why do
you think money will? The same rule applies.
Many people have money hang ups and most of them will deny it or try
to justify with excuses but the sad truth is, if you have these beliefs
imprinted, you will sabotage your wealth creation and you will never
create one.
Tony Rush, shared this simple idea that is so profound:
“Wealthy people think that there is abundance in the world, poor people think that there is not enough to go around.”
By looking at actions of others (and your own) you should be able see
the imprinted beliefs of the subconscious minds. The actions that we
take is nothing else but a bold display and reflection of our
subconscious mind.
Average Mindset
How many times have you seen a homeless guy by the side of the road
holding a cardboard that says, “I will work for food?” Sure. Many times,
right?
In fact, if you put yourself in the other person’s shoes, you might
think, “ha, If you took all from me away (wallet, my cards) and put me
on the road, I am sure I would get out of that situation in no
time….“After all. I have some skills, I know people…” right?. If we take
all way from you and leave you on a street corner….you wouldn’t have to
stay there, right?
Are you ready? There is a paradigm shift – a punch line. Here it is:
“Has it ever occurred to you that very wealthy individuals look at “average” people the exact…..same……way?” Think about it.
If for some reason Richard Branson was in a position where he was “only” earning $150,000 per year…..
…he’d say, “Oh, I could easily get out of that situation in no time”.
In fact, there is one wealthy guy who said: “If you took everything
from me and gave me a lawnmower, I’d be right back where I am right now
in less than 2 years.” Think about it, Why is it possible?
Because wealthy people think differently than “average” people. He’s got the MINDSET OF A MILLIONAIRE
Ask yourself: What does it looks like?….What does it feels like?….and
how you can start changing your life and your business? As T H Eker
says: “Change your roots and you will change your fruits.”
THE ROOTS CREATE THE FRUITS
Picture a tree. On this tree there are fruits. In your business,
FRUITS are RESULTS. If you want to change the fruits, you will first
have to change the roots (thoughts, ideas, people, education, mentoring,
etc). If you want to change the visible, you must first change the
invisible.
NOTE: This is not about eating caviar off golden spoons or lighting cigars with $100 bills. Unless that’s your thing.
Maxwell Maltz’s says it this way, “Human beings cannot consistently
outperform his or her own self image.” Read it twice – this is a
powerful line, This is the reason why people are and stay poor – it is
all about self image! So do something about it.
